On the first weekend in May, some of our brothers will travel to Washington, DC for the Ninety Second Annual Pilgrimage to the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. On Sunday, May 3rd, our NY Grand Master Dom Oreste, Grand Patriarch Aaron Kupferberg and Department Commander of New York Elia “Lee”
Faklis participated in the solemn laying of wreath for NY at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider at Arlington National Cemetery along with our Rebekah President Barbara DiVincenzo. It was a historic day for the Nassau District.
Prior to that day, at the reception and dinner in the hotel, the New York delegation took up two full tables and we celebrated our honor that night by singing in the hotel lobby. Congratulations to all involved to make our time in Washington, DC a success!
